Where toughness is forged, not given

At Chris Crossan’s Catch Wrestling Academy, the old-school spirit of real grappling lives on.

No gimmicks, no fluff—just hard, honest wrestling. Like the legendary Billy Robinson taught, every hold has a purpose, every move is earned. Here, we blend the brutal efficiency of catch-as-catch-can with modern conditioning, shaping wrestlers who know how to control, pin, and submit with precision.

If you want the truth about grappling, no flashy nonsense, just results just step on the mat. As Billy would say: “Conditioning is your best hold.”

TIME TO GRIND

OCOACH CHRIS

You don’t learn catch wrestling by playing games. You learn it by doing the work. Chris Crossan understands that. He’s not here to entertain you. He’s here to teach the truth—Catch-as-Catch-Can, the way it was handed down by men who earned every bit of knowledge on the mat, in the gym, and under pressure.

Born in the UK and built on the legacy of Catch Wrestling, Crossan is a product of sweat, not slogans. He’s studied the system.

Grinding rides, joint attacks, positional dominance, conditioning that doesn’t quit. He’s not interested in medals or applause. He’s interested in results. What works when your opponent is trying to break you? That’s what he teaches.

Chris Crossan’s Catch Wrestling Academy isn’t for everyone. There’s no pampering here. You’ll learn how to bridge properly, how to wrist ride a man to the floor, how to turn pressure into control, and control into pain. You’ll learn respect for the art, for your training partners, and for yourself. And if you can’t handle that? Then you’re not ready.

He’s preserving the real thing. Not choreography. Not “combat sports entertainment.” This is submission wrestling the way it was meant to be: efficient, aggressive, and honest.

Condition your body. Sharpen your technique. Respect the craft. That’s the path. Chris Crossan can show it to you, but he won’t walk it for you.
